A little overdue, but here it is nonetheless!
15 months is a fun age. Alivia is very verbal but also is developing an ornery/diva mode that is quite cute - for now. I know from experience that it becomes more of a headache rather quickly though!
Latest milestones: tons of new words (the cutest is a very clear "no" as well as "Why" for SuperWhy, "Elmo," "up" and even occassionally "yes"); three teeth including one molar; climbing everything; sitting in a booster at the table; knows her body parts; can recite the animal noises in "Moo Baa La La La" with us; tells us when she needs her diaper changed.
Stats: Her weight has fluctuated between 19 lbs 11 oz and 19 lbs 14 oz. Thanks to the teething, she's had several days where getting her to eat isn't very easy, but then she comes around and catches back up. She's doing well otherwise. Height is 30 3/4 inces (61st percentile) - she had quite the growth spurt; over an inch in a month!
Likes: Cheering on Tyler at his sporting events (soccer and baseball), dressing up (always has her pearls on), eating spaghetti noodles, and running away from you while laughing.
We see her cardiologist at the end of this month for the first time since her good report in March. Otherwise, we are pretty much holding steady. Her eating is still subpar - which is frustrating, but as long as she gains weight, I can't complain. We re-weigh her this Friday to make sure she's going in the right direction. Would you pray that she is - and that she begins to enjoy eating more? I keep hoping she'll branch out and enjoy more foods, but it's still a battle. Thankfully she has a few things she really does enjoy eating, so we always have those to fall back on!
Happy May!
